Outcome-based delivery
Working software every week. Not a status report.
End-to-end delivery from senior engineers working as part of your team. You see working software every week, an architecture that won't need rebuilding, and a clean handover. Software you own and can run after we're gone.

Shipped every week · live for your users · yours to keep
The usual options
Both normal options are bad.
Hire a team
Months of recruiting before anyone writes a line. Then the management overhead is yours to carry forever, for a system that doesn't exist yet.
Hand a spec to an agency
Built to the letter and wrong in spirit. Thrown over the wall as a finished deliverable, with no one left who can change it without breaking it.
The third option
Forward deployed engineering. Senior engineers working as part of your team, owning the outcome, building software your team can run after we leave. No bloated team to hire, no fourteen-month plan, no spec thrown over a wall.
How it works
Four phases. Production throughout.
Most ideas reach production in around eight weeks, whether that's a pilot to prove the bet or a full first version. We price by milestone and outcome, not by the hour, so you always know what the next step is worth.
- 01
Embed & architect
We work as part of your team and design an architecture that fits where you're going, not just where you are today.
- 02
Ship weekly
Working software from the first week, live for real users. You see real progress every week, not a status update.
- 03
Harden
Monitoring, alerts, runbooks, tests. The system is built to be operated under real load, not just demoed in a meeting.
- 04
Hand over, or stay
We transfer the capability to your team and get out of the way, or stay on as a long-term build partner. Your call, never a lock-in.
What you get
A system, not a deliverable.
Everything is yours from day one. What you're left with is software you own and can operate, not a dependency on us.
- 01
A live production system
Not a prototype, not a demo. Real software in production, doing real work for real users.
- 02
Architecture that won't need rebuilding
Designed for where you're heading. It scales with you instead of becoming the thing you have to tear out next year.
- 03
Monitoring, alerts, runbooks and tests
The operational layer that turns code into a system you can trust at 3am, in place before we leave, not bolted on after.
- 04
Knowledge transfer as we go
Your team levels up alongside us. By handover, the people who'll run it already understand it.
- 05
A clean handover, or a long-term partner
We make ourselves replaceable by design. Keep us on because you want to, never because you have to.
Why it holds up
We ship fast, and it still holds up.
Speed and rigour usually trade off. They don't here. Our engineers own the architecture and the judgment calls; AI agents take the toil out of everything in between. So "production-grade" isn't a phase at the end, it's the standard every weekly ship clears.

Not a release gate we hit at the end, how every week ships.
Is it for you?
When Build is the right call.
Build is for you if
- You've got a validated idea, or a Discovery behind you, and need to get to production fast.
- You don't want to spend months standing up a full team for a system that doesn't exist yet.
- You've been burned by an agency that delivered a black box no one on your side can maintain.
- You want the speed of senior builders without betting the company on someone else's spec.
Skip it if
- You haven't pinned down what's worth building yet. Start with Discovery, it's cheaper to find out first.
- You only need extra hands to execute a plan you'll manage day to day. That's staff aug, not this.
- It's a throwaway script or a one-off you'll never operate. Not worth production-grade engineering.
Questions
The ones that matter.
- How is this different from a dev agency?
- Agencies build to a spec in isolation and hand you a deliverable. We work as part of your team, adapt as we learn, and build a system you can run after we're gone. The goal is a clean handoff, not a dependency.
- Who owns the IP?
- You do, in full, from day one. The product, the source, the intellectual property: all yours. No black boxes, no escrow games, no licence that bites you later.
- How do you price it?
- By milestone and outcome, not by the hour. We agree what the next milestone is worth and what it costs, so you're buying progress you can see rather than a timesheet.
- What if we don't know exactly what to build yet?
- Then start with Discovery. A week of getting clear is cheaper than a month spent building the wrong thing, and it leads straight into Build with the same people who already understand your problem.
- What if we want you to stay?
- Plenty of clients do. We'll keep building as a long-term partner, because you want us there, not because you're locked in. Leaving cleanly is always on the table.
